rain rain, wher is the sun hiding?

does this rain ever stop?
it's been rainy n gray since... FOREVER!
i kno i'm spoiled about this rain, but i live in southern CAL! it's supposed to b warm n sunny, not wet all the time! my brain is moldy w/rain. i can't even stand the sound of the rain anymore either! wow, this is crazy!
ok, so last week, b4 i head out to the CES show in Las Vegas, it cleared like for a little bit, n the sky near my parents' house in newport looked beautiful...

then, well, LVS was... rain/snow/gray, wet, cold for all of the weekend, i mean, it rained the four hours drive home too! it snowed on friday! i didn't kno LVS gets cold in the winter! wow!
it is still raining right now, as i'm writing this. it's driving me nuts! so, i thought i'd share some of this wet foggy weather foto too...


on liter note, here's a gallery where i saw some interesting snoopy paintings, so i snuck a foto in b4 the sales came by to tell me NO FOTOS! in a rather mean way.

maybe i'll do a rain dance or something, tho i doubt it's gonna work against the heavy clouds i c covering the planet...
it's the global warming isn't it?

alright, this wimp of a girl/princess monkey, is going to try to work a little.
btw, this is what the repackaging of my sister's skincare line ended up looking like, i think it's not too shabby... right? i know ther's room for improvement, as always... o well, it was time/ budget limits. i like it for now.


ok, maybe not work... it's tough when ther's so many things to catch up on. just downloaded some fotos from my camera, n guess this was taken last sept/oct, when i was in... guess wher?

wow sophie, so nice to see updated posts and pictures! hey, even the rainy day picture looked pretty! Come visit us in NYC. the winter has been kinda mild here for once. I hope it stays this way

today

i spent yesterday in Magic Mountain, riding roller coasters! all to celebrate Kazumi's 31st birthday. so fun! except the only things is the head gets knocked around quite a bit. my frnd Matthias mentioned that he can feel he's getting older cuz after a whole day of such extreme treatment to the body, he was beginning to feel a little nauseated. i guess we r all gettin a little older... but not too much wiser. well, i wish i m just turning 31 too! and they'r complaining. i'll b 35 soon myself! does this mean no more partying? michael asked me arn't i too old to b raving n such? i'm beginning to feel i m, but i love dancing so much, wht do u do then? swtch to ball room dance? no way! age is such a weird thing. my dad said tonite tht since the passing of my grandpa, he's now the oldest of the family. becuz of tht, he suddenly feels very old. tht is very heartfelt n sad thought. to c him feel old... no one wants to feel the mortality of their parents, n...

hair line or cellulose line, artists tht inspires

it's been a while since i've posted any work here... well, i've not been doing too much new work. it's been very slow. maybe i've just been preoccupied, or just incubating? not sure which is which. maybe i feel as if the lines has to change for some reason? i kno it doesn't really. but what i'm seeing n experiencing, being in new town, with so many new things around me to observer, absorb, collect n regroup. it's starting to take some shape, i think. still don't kno wher ths is going just yet. i'm just glad it's moving. i was worried tht i've no longer got anything to create. tht my lines r old n farty now. maybe it is. i'm not sure, but so far, i'm liking it. ok, so now i wanna talk about 2 artists tht i'm fascinated by recently. one is Aubrey Bearsey from over 100 yrs ago. a very young artist who only made BW work n died at the young age o 25. he was illustrating literatures n myths. i've chanced by his poster in an exh...
