4 to 7 am

gosh, another nite without sleeping straight thru! this past weeks, i've been waking up at 4am, on the dot. and not able to return to sleep til 7 or 8. perhaps ther's something on my mind i've not been able to pinpoint? je ne sais pas la raison. il y a beaucoup de chose peut-etre.
perhaps making a list of what i hv to do today will put me to sleep? 7.22am, who is outside? it sounds wet like it's still raining. loosing my purse is really upsetting, cuz i had to cancel my cc & atm card here. today i will hv to go by the bank. shop for gifts. altho i did it for the states, i still didn't do for the family remaining in taiwan.

 Since the Covid Pandemic shut down of 3/2020, most of us have had a big shift in life. We’ve definitely have to adapt to living differently. SF became eerily quiet. The world came to a standstill. When shelter in place and work from home happened last year, we had just adopted an 8 week old puppy from Family Dog rescue. It was a lot to deal with because our cat took an immediate dislike. The 4 of us crammed into our tiny 1 bedroom condo was just too much stress, especially since we didn’t know the first things about raising such a young puppy. hair line or cellulose line, artists tht inspires

it's been a while since i've posted any work here... well, i've not been doing too much new work. it's been very slow. maybe i've just been preoccupied, or just incubating? not sure which is which. maybe i feel as if the lines has to change for some reason? i kno it doesn't really. but what i'm seeing n experiencing, being in new town, with so many new things around me to observer, absorb, collect n regroup. it's starting to take some shape, i think. still don't kno wher ths is going just yet. i'm just glad it's moving. i was worried tht i've no longer got anything to create. tht my lines r old n farty now. maybe it is. i'm not sure, but so far, i'm liking it. ok, so now i wanna talk about 2 artists tht i'm fascinated by recently. one is Aubrey Bearsey from over 100 yrs ago. a very young artist who only made BW work n died at the young age o 25. he was illustrating literatures n myths. i've chanced by his poster in an exh...
